For more than 30 years, the High Country Nuclear Medicine Conference has featured contemporary and futuristic topics in nuclear medicine and other imaging disciplines. High Country will continue to blend experts from academia and industry, along with leaders within the regulatory agencies and health care researchers in an informal setting to facilitate dialog and an exchange of ideas.

Ski Rental/Ski Lift/Ski Classes

Ski Rental and Ski lift tickets will be offered at a group discount rate for the High Country Meeting. Your tickets will be available for pickup when you check into the hotel. The arrangements will be made when you register for the meeting (rather than after the fact).

Steamboat offers a special ski instruction school for kids. If enrolled in the ski class, each child will receive a wrist band that is used as a tracking device for the parents. Each child must swipe the wrist band periodically throughout the class/day. The parents are given a monitoring device that they can take with them on the mountain that will show where their children on during their class.

Children's Activities: Children under age seventeen stay free in the parents' room. The Kids Vacation Center, located next to the Sheraton at the Steamboat Ski Area, provides supervised activities. During the ski season, the "Kids Ski Free" program enables children twelve and under to ski free and rent equipment free with parents purchasing five day (or more) lift tickets on a oneonone basis.

Discounted Ski Lift Passes

The High Country meeting will be offering discounted lift tickets to all attendees. To order your lift tickets, please use the "Lift Passes" order form that can be found on the HCNMC website. Payment must be received in order to reserve your passes. You will receive your passes upon checking into the hotel. All reservations for discounted passes must be made no later than February 5, 2009. (Please note: Orders placed after February 5 – will NOT be accommodated.)
