Consistency, Accuracy, Responsibility, and Excellence in Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (CARE) Act

The Consistency, Accuracy, Responsibility, and Excellence in Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (CARE) Act would require those who perform medical imaging and radiation therapy procedures to meet minimum education and credentialing standards in order to receive Medicare reimbursement.

In the 113th Congress, the CARE Act has been introduced as H.R. 1146 by Rep. Ed Whitfield (KY-1) and as S. 642 by Senator Mike Enzi (WY).
